assembly logic, CNC milling
sahya is a wall system that looks at economic construction of complex doubly curved geometries. Using low-cost technologies like vacuum forming and CNC milling, it explores the possibility of reusing a single mold to create variation and complexity in geometry. This variation can create transparencies and openings to enhance views and wind flows.
Sahya was displayed at the Venice Architecture Biennale 2016 and has been a part of Brickhaus, New Delhi since September 2017.
